Our Programs

At Kairo Sporting Foundation, our programs combine sports, education, and mentorship to empower young people. We provide opportunities for children to develop athletic skills, build character, and gain life skills that prepare them for a brighter future.

Sporting Programs
We offer a range of coed recreational programs designed to engage and empower youth in local communities. These programs integrate civic education with sporting activities such as soccer, netball, and volleyball, delivered through a structured curriculum. Our team works closely with schools to identify students with consistent attendance and satisfactory academic performance to participate in these programs. Through our “Play Smart – Learn Smart” model, participants enjoy their favorite sports while developing essential life skills such as decision-making, respect, confidence, hard work, gender equality, and perseverance. These skills are taught by experienced staff and trained volunteer coaches. Participants also have opportunities to visit various sites and interact with professionals from different fields. These sessions cover topics such as mental health, healthy living, mentorship, and creativity, broadening their knowledge and perspectives.

Soccer Program
Our soccer program follows a structured approach to ensure holistic development:

  • Participants are selected based on academic performance and class attendance records provided by their schools.
  • Parental consent is obtained for all participants before enrollment.
  • Each participant is provided with soccer equipment and gear, including cleats, bibs, socks, and jerseys.
  • Volunteer coaches are assigned to every team to provide training and mentorship.
  • Practice sessions are conducted twice a week, with games scheduled on Saturdays.
  • Each week, coaches and guest professionals engage participants in discussions on life skills before training and matches.
  • Participants take part in educational visits to gain exposure to new experiences and career opportunities.
  • At the end of each program cycle, every participant receives academic supplies such as notebooks, pens, and pencils to support their education.
